My first time as an instructor. I've picked up a couple of kits to build so that I know what I'm talking about the next time...
Yeah, it was a little on the warm side. The next event is in November and should be a tad more comfortable.

Last year we did have a cadet that launched something with a camera in it. Unfortunately the recovery system didn't work and he had a nasty spin on the video that, even in slow motion on the video he provided, was nausea-inducing and bordered on the unwatchable. Just remember to take care of the main functions first (parachute) and then worry about the secondary items (camera) second.
Sometimes it's too easy to concentrate on the fun stuff and forget about the basics, like the time a friend upgraded his brakes but forgot to tighten the lug nuts - oops.
